We supply 1 inch steel curtain rod pipe at KES 1,200 per 6 metre length. It is the larger pipe size for a front curtain rod. Tell us about your window so we can check the fit.

Heavy curtains need a rod that does not bow. The 1 inch curtain rod is thicker and stronger, made for wide windows, lined curtains and full length drapes. It is sold in full 6 metre lengths.

What it does

Holds the weight of thick curtains without sagging in the middle, and gives the window a solid, finished look.

Where it goes

Wide windows, sliding doors, living rooms and event halls. Also a good fit for hotels and offices where curtains are heavy.

How fundis use it

  1. Measure the full width you want to cover.
  2. Mark the length on the 6 metre rod and cut it cleanly.
  3. Fix a centre bracket for any span over about 1.5 metres, so the rod stays straight.
  4. Finish the ends with a decorative head.

Before you buy

A rod that bends after a few weeks. Add a centre support on wide windows and the rod will stay straight for years.

About Premium Gate and Frame

Founded on 15 March 2025 in Kariobangi, we supply the components fundis, contractors and hardware shops need to keep fabrication and building work moving.

Our listed range includes door rollers, welding rods, grinding and cutting discs, gate decorations, fasteners and fittings. Availability is confirmed per request.

Premium Gate and Frame started on 15 March 2025 in Kariobangi Light Industries. We supply the parts and consumables used in everyday gate, door and fabrication work.

We are still building the range and relationships. Our job is simple: answer clearly, confirm what is available and help you choose a delivery option that fits the destination.
